Every day I realize that my whole adult work experience has been preparing me for my Real Estate Career. Prior to being a Realtor, I have been a Bankruptcy Coordinator, Foreclosure Specialist, Manager of a Financial Planning and Tax Preparation Firm, and a Mortgage Originator. This background has given me the knowledge to guide a customer through all aspects of the buy/sell process, the expertise to address complex situations and the experience to know when an additional professional such as an attorney, financial planner or tax advisor should be consulted. My goal is to be your trusted Real Estate Professional and my experience helps me to reach that goal.
I believe in continuously fine-tuning my skills and take additional classes whenever time allows. Some of the extensive training I have completed includes 1031 Exchanges, Reverse Mortgage Purchases, Investment Properties, CHFA Programs, and Military Residential purchases. Additional training have been geared towards the finer points of the real estate contract and negotiations to include water rights, septic inspections, competing offer strategies and successful marketing of a home.
I am a proud military wife, mother, sister, niece, aunt, cousin, and friend. I am blessed to have such a strong military presence in my life as it has taught me selfless service and sacrifice.
I married my husband Art, in November of 1994. We moved to Fort Collins in June of 2009 as our last duty assignment from the Army. Art retired from the Army in 2012 after 26 years of service. We loved the area so much; it has become our “home of record.” Marrying Art made me the stepmom to two amazing stepchildren, Talie and Torie. Both are married and reside in our home state of Wisconsin with their spouses Paul and Tiara respectively. Art and I have two incredible children together, Mateo and Myah. Both children attend schools in the Thompson School District and enjoy the extra-curricular activities Northern Colorado has to offer. We attend Crossroads Church in Loveland where the whole family regularly volunteers.
When additional time is available, I enjoy spending time outdoors, traveling and being with family and friends.
