Leslie Leis

“The Negotiator”

Leslie was raised on a horse ranch in Phoenix before moving to Colorado to attend CSU (go Rams!) and make Fort Collins her home. Real Estate investing is a family tradition, and she grew up learning from the best. After school, she was drawn to the opportunity to work for a local home builder before pursuing her own business in Northern Colorado Real Estate. For over 15 years, Leslie has been building a strong reputation for superior market knowledge and razor-sharp negotiating skills. This experience and expertise has earned her numerous awards and accolades from her peers in the industry.

She has worked with clients to sell everything from raw pasture land and condos, to large horse properties and apartment buildings. She has created a curriculum to educate first timehomebuyers on the process of buying their first home, and she has hosted educational events to teach seasoned investors how to buy properties with money from their self-directed IRA. Her business has always been about helping her clients meet their goals rather than simply processing a transaction. Leslie and her husband Jacob live in Fort Collins on a small horse property with their daughter Lillian and sons George and

Ian Johnston

“The Dude”

Ian is the rockstar behind the team’s transaction processing machine and the one who keeps the wheels on the bus when this business gets crazy. He hails from Kansas City and moved to the Fort just a few years ago, lured by stories of these mythical tall hills called ‘mountains’.

In the summer he enjoys playing tennis, dominating in volleyball and riding his bike. In the wintertime he’s more likely to be found curled up inside with his Xbox or in a local brewery dreaming of warmer days. He barely knows what a horse is, but he hopes to ride one someday (a wild horse that is).

Likes: Mountain biking, live music, Kansas City Royals baseball, Jayhawk basketball and black and white cats.






Peter Clay

“The MVP”

Originally from Phoenix, Arizona, Peter moved and joined the NoCo Home Team in 2015. He is no stranger to real estate as he grew up in a real estate and equestrian focused family. Those family ties continue today as Peter is Leslie’s brother.

As an experienced agent, Peter understands that buying a home is one of the biggest decisions in a client’s life and views representation and guidance of his buyers through this process as a true privilege. His ability to understand the needs of his clients and navigate today’s fast-paced market, has allowed Peter to open doors for his buyers that few agents can. In additional to growing up in the family business, Peter also brings a wealth of business-to-business sales experience from his ten years in the corporate arena. A proud father to three wild boys and one sweet little girl, when Peter isn’t searching for the perfect home for a client, he enjoys playing soccer, spending time with his wife, Kara, and kids,and cheering for the Phoenix Suns and Arizona Cardinals.

Likes: All things sports, hiking, fishing, boating, camping, meeting new people, and Jacob’s homemade Wasabi popcorn!




Jess Killingsworth

“The Multitasker”

Jess grew up on a farm in small-town Texas but found her way to Nashville, TN, after college. She spent her twenties working in the music industry and eventually found her love for real estate. Jess has over 20 years of experience and achievements within the marketing, entertainment, corporate, and real estate arenas. She alongside her husband and daughter moved to Fort Collins in 2013. Jess joined the team in 2020, as our listing and marketing manager.

Her attention to detail, high level of customer service, communication, and proactiveness to resolve challenges make her a great addition to our team. When she isn’t working, you can find her drinking a cup of coffee on her porch, tackling a home DIY project, and perusing neighborhood garage sales for hidden treasures.

Likes: Playing golf, iced coffee, working in the yard, true crime podcasts, hiking, and a well-organized to-do list






Lillian specializes in communications and can sell just about anything (especially a later bedtime or an extra treat).

Likes: Horses, babydolls, iPhones and talking.


George works hard to charm everyone and is brought in for our extra tough deals to cheer everyone up. He can be counted on to crack every one up on a regular basis.

Likes: Joke Telling, Toys, Toys and did he mention toys?


Last but not least, meet Henry, our latest hire! He may need a bit more training, but has settled into his business role with endless energy and a permasmile to boot!

Likes: Snacks, cuddles & going, going, going!
