About Debbie Sorensen
I grew up with Fort Collins. Moving here in 1971 as a child, allowed me to watch it become a thriving city from a small cow town. Most of the fun places I frequent now, in Old Town, have fond memories from the past, as hot spots from another era. The corner of College and Mountain was the home of Woolworths, where they served from the counter of an old-fashioned soda fountain. It’s no wonder Walt Disney designed his Main Street, USA from our quaint little town.
I had a front seat to view the changes along the Front Range. It was a privilege to ski the greatest peaks when there were no lines or traffic. It was exciting to watch the Foothills Mall be built and just as exciting to see it being rebuilt. I’m delighted our City planned the beautiful parks and trails I enjoy so much, as well as maintaining the ambiance of Old Town. This is home, where I married my sweetheart from Greeley and raised my daughter. Like most Coloradoans, I enjoy the outdoors year round, biking, hiking, skiing and catching some great photography.
Real Estate has been my only passion and career. I spent 7 years as an Escrow Officer, closing real estate transactions for title companies. The next 15 years I held several positions in real estate lending. Responsibilities included managing a processing center as Director of Operations, AVP of Mortgage Lending and Senior Loan Officer. In 2007 I received my Real Estate license. My skill set and knowledge of all sides in the transaction has many benefits to my clients.
I’m a full-service Broker committed to excellence with a strong work ethic. It is my goal to provide a seamless transaction, beyond your expectations. My motto is to treat each client, as if they were family.
